OKTA Verify - Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA)
STEP 1
Install Okta Verify and Login to create account
STEP 1 HAS TO BE DONE on a desktop computer or laptop
What you'll need:

A desktop computer or laptop running Windows 10 or 11 or macOS (Big Sur, Monterey, Ventura)

Your DOE ID number and password ready

If you mainly check on emails on your cellphones, YOU STILL HAVE TO DO STEP 1 ON A COMPUTER FIRST.

If you mainly check on emails on your home computer/laptop, you can do Step 1 on your own at home.

If you have a state issued desktop/laptop on campus running Windows 10/11 or MacBook (Big Sur, Monterey, Ventura), I have already done Step 1 for you.

Sorry, I was unable to do Step 1 on chromebooks or outdated devices. A shared device is being used for this step while I'm also working on finding updated devices to roll out slowly.
STEP 2
Okta Fastpass (Dec. 01, 2023)
After 10:00am sometime during the day, please attempt to sign out of your DOE account and set up MFA utilizing the instructions provided below. If you run into issues, visit the Tech Support in the VP room for assistance.

MAKE SURE THAT YOU SIGN OUT FIRST.
If you Step 2 correctly, it will ask you to set up a security question during the process.

STEP 3 (optional)
Cellphone/iPad/Tablets & Computer/Laptop
If you plan on checking your DOE email on multiple devices, you NEED to use your cellphone # for text or download Okta Verify App.
The app on your Apple device or Android (Samsung, Google Pixel, etc.) will look this or similar.

When you use another device separate from your school issued device, you can use the app on your cellphone to login.
The code can be found when you install and open the phone app. Then look where the eyeball is to reveal the code.
