Annual Tilapia Harvest
I just got out of the pond. It was great to see so many TEAM members who came out to pick up some of our farm-raised fish! Thank you to everyone who maintains and cares for our 21st Century Learning Center. Special thanks to our pre-K classes and custodians who feed our fish. . . One of our custodians even comes in on the long weekends to make sure that our fishes get fed. Each year, in December, we are able to harvest fish thanks to the many hands that assist us with our 21st century Learning Center. We were able to harvest more than 100 fishes this morning and well over 250 pounds of fresh fish. The fish ranged in mass from 1-pounders up to the bombuchas (about 4 pounds) .
