Earth Day: Genki Balls

For Earth Day Mrs. Bangan, Mrs. Sutcliffe and Mrs. Chun went across the street from campus to Ala Wai Canal and assisted with EMHawaii to help clean sludge, throw genki balls and test the water quality! They checked the PH, Nitrate, Nitrite, Salinity and Ammonia levels of the water with water test kits. Also, they threw genki balls which are balls of mud with micro organisms that will break down the sludge in the Ala Wai Canal. Hopefully next year we can have the students participate because it was very educational, fun, and great for the environment.
